Show Ill OISPOIY SWHS ARE MADE With the awarding of prizes for the best window displays, me mi6 local observation of Utah Products week came to a close Saturday night. 1 ne week was one of much interest and education to the local public, particularly partic-ularly the school children, who were favored with lectures on the subject by Miss Mary Littleficld and Mrs. Olive Havens. Window displays more numerous than before and in every way the special observation should be productive of good results. The report of the window display judges, which was presented to George Goddard, president of the Ogden branch of the Utah Manufacturers' association, as-sociation, and James P. Casey, secretary secre-tary of the Ogden publicity bureau, is as follows: Large windows First prize, the Washington Market, ror the most complete, com-plete, attractive and unique display. Second prize W. H. Wright & oons for the best display of woolen and cotton goods, manufactured by John Scowcroft & Sons company, and the Knight Woolen Mills. Small windows First prize, H. B. Sawyer, Harrison avenue. Second prize J. L. Moore, Five Points. Honorable mention Ogden Packing and Provision company, Murphy Grocery Gro-cery company, Pierce Canning company, com-pany, Independent Market, 2120 Washington Wash-ington avenue; Success Market, 2264 Washington avenue; J. S. Daniels, P. K. Smith and W. A. Shaw, Five Points. It is to be regretted that a greater number of our merchants have not evinced more interest in displaying home products. Respectfully submitted.
