He explains th&1 tarvia macadam will cost about $1800 more a mile than water macadam, but he Is of the opinion that It will UMl enough longer to compensate for the difference in price. The cost of tar- la macadam is about $6500 a mile while the water-mixed macadam costs .lhout 4700.
