Show SENIOR CLASS OF THEl" ACADEMY HAS. Ai OUTING , The members of the senior class of the Weber academy are enjoying an outing at the Utah Hot Springs this afternoon, the day having been set asido for their annual merry-making, by the school facultj'. The prospective pros-pective graduates were to cnjpy bathing bath-ing and picnicing at the Boxelder county resort and to return to the city early In the evening. They made the trip to the springs, nccompanied by Principal J. L. Barker and other members of the academy official staff and chaperons, on a special Ogden, Logan and Idaho electric car. This morning, the class was host to the other members of the student body at an entertainment, the program pro-gram being planned and carried out iu a highly effective manner. It was as follows-Duet, follows-Duet, "Abide With Me" .. .Pauline Malan and .Mary" Read Prayer Ben Young Song, "Weber A." Senior Clas.' Reading Gladys Peterson Instrumental Quartet Earl Nixon, Wilford Smeding, Leon Barrett and Lawrence Maddock. ' Prognostication, "Class of 1916 In 1916" R'cad by Members Duet ...Iris Bowns and Leon Barrett Address Principal James L. Barker t (class adviser) Song. "Commencement Days". ..Class The address of Principal Barker was of special Interest, the speaker expressing regret at tho prospect of losing the association of his class, and pleasure in the thought tUnt its members mem-bers had shown themselves worthy students of the academy and that they possessed the qualities that make for success in life. He mentioned men-tioned the fine record made by the prospective graduates as winners of inter-class, school, inter-high school and M. I. A. contests and hoped they would keep up the pace they had set as leaders among their associates |
