Show Society SEWING CLUB MEETS. Mrs Peter D Kline served a delicious deli-cious luncheon following the meeting of her sewing club Tuesday, July 13, at the Kline home, 2547 Van Buren avenue. VISITING IN SALT LAKE. The little Misses Elizabeth and Katherlne O'Connor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin O'Connor of this ftity are visiting their aunts in Salt Lake. Mrs. J. Harvey and Mrs. M. A. Burke. Mrs. S. E. Brumbaugh of Akron, Ohio, i visiting her brother, O N. Holibaugh, at 2228 Madisen avenue. TENTH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED. Among the pretty events of tho woek was a party given In honor of little Miss Bertie Stoddard's tenth birthday yesterday afternoon at the Stoddard home, 2428 Monroe avenue. The little guests arrived about 2:30 o'clock and enjoyed various amusing games j until 5, when Mrs. Stoddard, assisted by Miss Nettie Johansen. served luncheon. The table was especially espe-cially attractive with bowls of. pink and, while sweet peas and a7 large birthday cake In pink and. white with ton lighted .candles graced the center. 'Che little hostess received many lovely gifts. PAST NOBLE GRANDS MEET. Mrs. Elizabeth Monahan was the gracious hostess to the Past Noble Grand club Thursday afternoon at the honie of her daughter. Mrs. Alvin Mortensen She was assisted in entertaining en-tertaining by her' daughters, Mes-dames Mes-dames Mortensen and Langworthy. After a pleasant hour spent at cards, prizes were awarded to the following ladies- Mesdames Meid, Turner and Kissel. The club will be entertained by Mrs. KisseJ on August 19, tU 427 Thirtieth Thir-tieth street. The annual club picnic will be held on July 20. The exact location-and time of meeting will be announced later. THIMBLE CLUB. Thimble club ladies. No 5S1 Women Wom-en of Woodcraft, met at the home of Mrs Wagner, 303 Twentieth street, yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Wagner served refreshments at the close of the meeting. OGDEN VISITOR. Miss Nell Lewis of Hunter, Utah, is in Ogden, the guest of her cousin, Miss Edith Wadman. s, - ON AN OUTING. President William Purdie and Mrs. Purdie chaperoned the Fourth wnrd choir on their annual outing and pic-j nic to Lagoon, Thursday evening, Julyi 15 The choir, with a number of their, friends, went to Lagoon early in tho evening and did not return until late1 lhat night. They had a picnic lunch at the resort, after which dancing and other amusements were enjoyed by Mrs. Sarah Halibaugh of Marlboro, H Ohio, is visiting her son, O. W.
