Show DIME COMPANY SUIT- RECALLS A DISASTER The suit of John H. Semar against the Dinwlddie Construction company and others filed today, recalls the caving In of the cement roof of the Eccles garage on Jefferson avenue and Twenty-seventh street, June S, 1914, entombing six men, two of whom ulcd of their Injures. The complaint alleges that the plaintiff was caught under the heavy mass of concrete and badly crushed, receiving injuries of a permanent nature, na-ture, his right ankle joint being dislocated dis-located and the muscles badly torn and lacerated, causing him to suffer a "flat foot" and "fallen arch," and that he has been compelled to walk on crutches, all to his damage in the sum of 26,000 in general, and $3600 In a special -tfay. Tho Dinwlddie company was the contracting party for the construction of the garage, but Mrs. Bortha Eccles, David C. Eccles and L. R. Eccles and Royal Eccles arc made parties to the action Rea4 tho Classified Ada. |
