Show oo Deaths and Funerals MALAN Tho funeral ot Mrs. Marie Malan was held yesterday afternoon after-noon In the Fifth ward meeting house, with Bishop's Counsellor C. C. Brown presiding. Tho meeting house was filled with friends and relatives of the deceased and her children and many floral tributes wero placed upon her bier. Speakers at tho service were Bishop T. B. Wheelwright Pa- I triarch G. W. Larkin, Bishop's Coun- sellor George Poultor and Elder 1 Thomas A. Shreeve. iMrs. Mary Far- ley sang "There Is a Land"; Mrs. Maude Lloyd sang "A Perfect Day," Mrs. Emily Maddock and Pauline Malan sang a duet and Vera Jones sang, "Thou Art Gone." Interment was in the city cemetery, the grave g being dedicated by Patriarch Larkin." no . |
