Show EMPLOYES OF THE S. P. INVITED TO WORLD'S FAIR About 30 local employes of the Southern Pacific are to depart from Ogden this week for a trip to the San Francisco exposition, in accordanec with a privilege granted by the railroad rail-road company, through an order received re-ceived from the office of the general manager. The order is to the effect the Southern South-ern Pacific company has extended an invitation to its employes to take a vacation trip to the exposition, as fast as they can be spared from their work, with their transportation being paid by the company The Invitation also applies to Southern Pacific pensioners pen-sioners and, according to Asst Supt H. L. Bell of the Salt Lake division about six retired employes living in Ogden have thus far accepted It. It is thought that approximately 12 men employod on the Salt Lake division divi-sion with their nrivM nnrt r-hilclron will depart for the coast this week as business at the present time Is such that the number can be spared from their work All of the employes, however, ihat desire it will be permitted to visit tie Eair during the j ea r |
