Show HOW DOCTORS ARE MADE TO SPECIALS The parents' and theological classes of the Sixth ward Sunday school were addressed yesterday morning by Dr. J. D. Harding on the subject ot "Choosing a Vocation." The talk was one of a series that the doctor is giving giv-ing In the Sixth ward aud his hearers hear-ers were keenly interested In it. Among other things, he emphasized the need of good health to be sue cessful in nay vocation and urged tno young people in particular to eat only i wholesome foods and to acquire only I wholesome habits of life. Speaking directly on his subject, be stated that the present age was one of specializing and, as au exam-i exam-i pie, cited conditions In Austria I among the medical profession. A physician in that country he said could only prescribe for a part of the tody and that the system of one physician phys-ician prescribing for the whole body as is the vogue in America, Is considered con-sidered ridiculous by the doctors ot continental Europe. |
