Severe losses have been inflicted upon the German naval units I 1 in the Baltic sea by the Russians, ac-cording ac-cording to a semi-official review of the operations there made public last night. German submarines are said to have suffered considerably while a I number of transports loaded with supplies sup-plies have been destroyed. The statement state-ment follows: Early in September the activity of our fleet iu the southern Baltic compelled com-pelled the enemy to modify his plan and concentrate his chief efforts upon operations by submarines.
