Show ENHL ROBERTS OUT OF DEE HOSPITAL Emll Roberts, who was shot in the thigh by Sherman Anderson, the 11-year-old son of Adolph Anderson, while he was assaulting his father, has been released from the Dee hospital, hos-pital, his wound proving not to be of j I ery serious nature. He has returned re-turned to his home at Burch Creek. Mr Anderson is still In the hospital hos-pital and it is said by attendants that he likelv will remain there until un-til thfi laHtM- norl -,!" ihia wrnk Emil and Alphone Roberts, broth ers, resident farmers of Burch Creek, were implicated in the assault on Anderson, An-derson, but criminal charges have not been preferred against them. County Attorney David Jensen states that he cannot determine just what charge to prefer, nor who to make the charge against, until he ha6 had an opportunity oppor-tunity to converse with Mr. Anderson Ander-son and learn more fully of the nature na-ture of the assault. He expects, however, to prefer a criminal charge against some, or all, of the parties implicated In the affair. The story told by the young lad who defended his father by using a l'2-callbre rifle on the Roberts brothers, bro-thers, says that the Italian attacked his father with rocks and also used a grubbing hoe and that they desisted in their assault only when he began shooting. Mr. Anderson was badly cut about the head and body and he suffered a fractured arm and shoulder. shoul-der. The assault grew out of a dispute over the use of irrigation water. |
