Show PEOPLE COiPLll , OF A USANCE Residents near the northeast corner cor-ner of Twenty.third street and Lincoln Lin-coln reported the existence of a nuisance nuis-ance in that vicinity, which was" said to have existed until it was almost intolerable. A reporter visited Uir scene and found that the report had not been in the least overdrawn. The place complained against is a one-room frame shack with a lean-to shanty at the rear. There are ten or twelve men making the place their rendezvous. There are no outhouses, sewer connections or any other sanitary sani-tary conveniences and the conditions surrounding the place are too vile to be published. Mrs. M. S. Marriott whose residence resi-dence adjoins the place, stated that she had personally visited the agent who has charge of the property and had asked him to have it fixod up. Ho did not comply with her request and she then called the attention of tho-city tho-city commissioners and health department. |
