From a survey sur-vey of the field Veteran horsemen' conclude that the trotting material for next summer will be of higher grade than has been seen for somo j time. The newcomers are the best in years In the Lexington fall trials of 1912 only Tc-nara, Judson Girl Lady Grat-tan Grat-tan and Reusens performed creditably credita-bly while this fall there were shown six trotting mares that trotted miles from 2:06 to 2:07 1-2, of which tho oldest was five years of age and a crowd of others did nearly as well The prospects are very brlRht for some great sport next summer |
