Show I STORM DAMAGES U. S. BUILDINGS Waehing-ton, Aug. r'. An aftermath of the cyclonic storm that swept Washington last week Is disclosed In a statement prepared for congress announcing an-nouncing that $60,000 will be necessary neces-sary to repair the damage done to the buildings occupied by the pension bureau and the office of public lands This amount represents the loss due to the fury of the wind iu stripping off roofs, smashing windows and otherwise oth-erwise wrecking the structures. It does not represent the loss of trees in the grounds surroundinc the former structure, many of which were levelled. lev-elled.
