Show CLERK MAY GO TO RURAL SERVICE I Assistant Postmaster Rufus Garner is working on the maps of the rural routes from the Ogden offices as they will be after the new route Is put in operation. The maps will be sent to the -Fourth Assistant Postmaster of rural routes at Washington for approval. ap-proval. When the new route is operated op-erated after May l the routes of carriers car-riers Nos. 2 and .1 will be slightly changed but the mileage will not be altered to the extent that any of the carriers will have their salaries low-! low-! ered. It Is not known whether an examination exami-nation for (he rural carrier will be I held for there is a provision in the I postal regulations that permits a sub-j stltute in the postoffice to transfer to a rural route if he so desires.
