I CANYON At the meeting of tha city board of commissioners this morning City En gineer H J Craven recommended tha: the proposed pipe line to South Fork In connection with the city reservoir BVRtem. be located immediately, be ginning at a point just below the confluence con-fluence of the rixht and left hand forks, continuing the line to the present pres-ent site of the Cobble Creek dam The engineer urged haste in the matter and suftRested that excavating for the pipe line should begin at oti.e. He also urged that Information regarding re-garding the right of way be secured at an early dale The recommendations were adopted by rhe commissioners, but no appropriation appro-priation was made for the undertak-! ITpon renuost of President ,1 B j Carver, a tax fund of $2,000 was trana j ferred to the Carnegie libr.in The bond of Earl Cielger for a re tall liquor license at the Eagle club rooms on HudBon avenue, was approved ap-proved and certified to the Judges of the district court.
