Show 1 Society EAGLE8' DANCE Ogdeu aerie No. 118, Fraternal Or- I der of Eagles, held sway last evening at the New Colonial, and. be it sutd to the credit of the floor commit - 1 too, it was one of the best conducted conduct-ed dancing parties of the season, rag ; dances being entlrelj eliminated. The big floor was in perfect condition con-dition and about 125 couples eujoyed to the fullest extent the delightfu1 ' program of 28 choice numbers played , by Salter's orchestra A decorative scheme of pleas, nr. effect also added to the lure of the occasion. The canopy of evergreens was crossed from corner to corner with wide banners of red, white end blue, and in tho middle was hung a large American eagle. Another en- ' gle held a place of vantage in the middle of a beautiful silk flag, draped over the large mirror at the eaBt end 1 of the hall. At the right of the nilr- j ror was placed i large latter f. com - ' I poBed of rod luca&doioeat lights aboe lit; formed with white globes, the' ! letter O stood out aud at the left the letter E In globes of blue, complied compli-ed the insignia of the order Ot1 the grouped figure and covering ? i large area of the evergreen was one of the largest merican flags in the citv; the whole arrangement giving B fine effect The orchestra stand was tastefully draped with the national color and the white cloth which hung from the refreshment table made a good background for the letters F O B lo green. The party is strictly for married people and the program has been arranged ar-ranged with a view to pleasing that type only. It will commence promptly prompt-ly at 8 p. m. In the meeting house, and at 9 dancing will commence in tin hall. Refreshments will be served and the committee extends a cordial Invitation to their married friends from other wards to be present MORMON BATTALION DAUGHTERS The Daughters of the Mormon Battalion Bat-talion will hold their regular monthly meeting at the home of Mrs Joseph Starh, 267 Lincoln avenue, Wednes day.
