Practically the entire afternoon was , turned over to the celebration in honor hon-or of Lincoln, and the isitors who ar-I ar-I rived early were conducted through j the building and shown the classes at their studies. The s'udents had ; been busy with the decorations and I the hall had been made wonderfully attractive for the event Previous to the program of tho aft ernoon a number of the veterans with their wives were banqueted in the attractive dining room of the domestic science department. The young ladies, la-dies, under the direction of Miss Peail Cragun. had summoned all table decorating dec-orating art to their assistance, and the result was a pleasing surprise A huge bank of smllax occupied a position In the center of thu table and a column extended several fen: above the bank.
