The exteelor of the "prlion," which le to cott $70,000, will preient an aipact at aevere and uninviting aa that of the atate penitentiary, but the Interior, according ac-cording to the plant, will be a combination of modern home comfort and Institutional In-stitutional plalnnett. The exterior will rival an ancient battlle for loopholes and parapets, and the Interior, or at least a part of It, will be luxuriantly appointed. ap-pointed. There Is to be a living room and dining room for Qourdaln and a similar provision for the private warden whom Oourdaln will Install An elaborately furnished workshop, where Courdaln says he will toll from day to day, and a cell of up to date structure are also provided for In the plans. There will also be a reception room for women and a library, and In the basement base-ment will be an office room for the "warden," a boiler room, a dining room and laundry. |
