Show "Surrey Woe Water" Much loeul Interest has been aroused by the fact that the underground under-ground stream known as the "Surrey Woe Water" bas recently been flowing flow-ing fairly rapidly along the Cuter-ham Cuter-ham valley, an occurrence which, according ac-cording to ancient tradition, presages some world-shaking event. The stream is supposed to appear above ground every seven years, and the recent rising ris-ing was rather later than usual, as It generally starts In February. It U thought that possibly the heavy ruin-fulls ruin-fulls experienced In March assisted to bring about the flow, as the hills round about are full of water. |
