Hit with pitched balls (Continued on Page 4) Bingham Team Wins Field Day Contest at Lagoon In a feature event of the Utah Copper Cop-per Field day outing at Lagoon last week, the "Copper team, league champions, cham-pions, won from the Arthur team by a score of 5 to 1. Bert Mclvor for Bingham and Jimmy Jim-my Walp, moundsman for Arthur were in fine form and pitched excellent ball throughput the game. In the girls' event for the same age, Sarah Spence of Magna and Josephine Mix of Arthur finished first and second. Mrs. R. M. Tallamante proved to be the fleetest of the women, winning the women's race by a good margin. Lylia Boothe finished second. sec-ond. The sack race was won by W. C. Drubaugh took first prize, while Mrs. Mike Perrick was second. The relay team of Sadler, Henderson, Ed-man Ed-man and Stewart, defeated the mine team consisting of Buckle, Reading, J. and B. McKee. The Giant volleyball volley-ball game, a new event on the athletic ath-letic program for field day, was won by Magna after a spirited game, the score being 7 to 6.
