Show ALDERMAN ARRAIGNED Alleged Detroit Grafter Pleads Innocent Demand Trial Detroit, Aug. 22. When Alderman Lewis Brozo of the Thirteenth ward went into police court today it was expected that the preliminary of his examination on a chargo, of having accepted a bribe of $100 In return for his promise to grant municipal favors to the Wabash railroad would be marked by an lmmediato demand by other accused aldermen that their cases be heard as soon as possible. Aldermen Tobsj', Ostrowski and Watson, all asserting their Innocence, were ready to ask that they either be removed from their stain of alleged al-leged boodllng, or given immediate trial. |
