Show WOULD MAKE BEAUTIFUL FALLS Mr. H. C. Bigelow, president of the Ogden State bank, has advanced a proposition to enhance the beauty of the scenery around Ogden about ono thousand per cent. Ho has offered to give the first 3100 toward convoying convoy-ing tho water of Waterfall Canyon creek oer tho top of the high cliffs in oider to release It In such a woy as to produce a waterfall that can be seen from all points In this city and the sui rounding country At the present time the water only falls about 450 feet, but it is thought that the water can be conveyed through a short flume to the face of tho cliff. It has been estimated that the improvement could be made for about $500, and Mr. Bigelow has kindly kind-ly offered to ghc the first $100 Tho matter is now In the hands of the Ogden publicity bureau, and O. J Stilwell, secretary of tfio bureau, states that the bureau will be glad to havo an estimate from any contractor who would like to participate in bringing bring-ing about the much desired improvement improve-ment to tho scenery in this vicinity. |
