In order to facilitate an appeal to the supreme court of the United States, Superior judge James v. uouey lormauy ordered or-dered the Spreckles ostato distributed esterday, according to the terms of the will of the late Claus Sprccklea The notice of appeal was filed Immediately Imme-diately after the entering of the order or-der for distribution, accoidlng to the decree of the state supreme court, which upheld the will. Yesterday's proceedings mark the passing of the will contest from the state and county courts, where the $5,000,000 worth of property bequeathed bequeath-ed by the late sugar magnate to Rudolph, Claus Spreckles. Jr , and the daughter, Emma Ferris, has been kept for several i year3 by the two other sons, A. B and John D. Spreckles The latter two wore ignored in the will, having been provided for by their father during his lifetime. |
