Show HOWELL IS TO HAVE PROBATE MATTERS Under an agreement between Judges Howell and Harris of the Second Sec-ond district court, the judges have classified tho legal business of the court, each hearing a particular part of the work alternately. Tho pact year Judge Howell handled han-dled miscellaneous matters, naturalization, naturali-zation, adoptions, insanity cases and default dlvorco cases, while Judgo PIarrls dovoted bis .time to probate and guardianship matters and contested con-tested cases of that character, besides attending to a part of the criminal and civil business. An order issued this morning by tho two judges, designates the cases to bo attended to by each of them during tho year 1913, reversing the order of 1912, as follows: It is hereby ordered that, on and after the 1st day of January, 1913, and until otherwise ordered, the business busi-ness of the court shall be assigned to tho respective judges tberof as follows: fol-lows: To Judge J. A. Howell Weber County All probate and guardianship matters, and contested causes growing out of the same. One-half One-half of all civil and criminal cases, being those with odd numbers. Davis County All business for months of January to June inclusive. Morgan County All business for months of July to December Inclusive. To Judge N. J. Harris Weber County All miscellaneous matters, including adoption and naturalisation nat-uralisation matters, hearings in insanity in-sanity cases and hearings in default divorce cases. One-half of all civil and criminal cases, being those with even numbers. Davis County All business for mojjths of July to December inclusive- Morgan County All business for months of January to June inclusive. Provided, that during the absence or disability of either judge, any matters mat-ters referred to said judge may be heard beforo the other judgo of said court, in his discretion. 00 |
