Show : uu ' STATE NEWSl 'DEMOCRATIC-MOOSE MERGER. i' Logan, Nov. 27 As a result of a general agreement reached last night among Democrats and Bull Moosers. primaries were held by members of the two parties this evening to name candidates for the city board of education. ed-ucation. In the First district Stephen Hail-' stone; in the Second, Charles England, Eng-land, and the Third, Preston A. Thatcher, three Democrats, were chosen. The voters of the Fifth district dis-trict chose Dr. H. J. Frederick, a Bull Moose, but in the Fourth district there was a disagreement and the primary was adjourned to meet next Saturday evening. According to the agreement reached reach-ed last night the representatives from the Fourth district should bo a Bull Moose. In each primary there was present-" ed a uniform resolution pledging the person nominated, if elected, to be ' non-partisan in the administration of all the duties of tho office and to place the school funds where they would 1 draw the highest rate of interest. |
