Show WNG MAN KILLED BY A BOLT Logan, July 31 Edward Garner, aged 28 years, a cook employed at tnp J. E. Brown sheep camp, in tho mountains ahout thirteen milos west of Logan, was Instantly killed at S o'clock yesterday morning by a stroke of lightning, during a severe electrical and rainstorm which swept the coun-tr- for miles around News of the fatality was not received bore until un-til this morning and tonight the body was bi ought to this city Two herders who were with Garner Gar-ner during the storm, wro Bllgbtly shocked, but escaped serious injury The bolt or lightning which killed Garner passed through his body and blasted the rock upon which he was sitting. Papers found in tho pockets of tho victim, who had been here only a short time, indicate that his paronLs are residents of Los Angeles and the bod will bo held hero pending an effort to communicate with them. |
