IH resulted today in a plan to organize mWM workers for pure food laws through- l out the country in an association to W work for Democratic success next H November. H Governor Wilson discussed his at- H titude on this subject and the Domo- H cratic platform, insofar as It related H to pure food legislation, with Profes- H sor Irving Fisher of Yale, Dr. Woods H Hutchinson, Dr. J M. McCormlck, HH Dr. Thomas Darlington and Dr. Wil- VI ham A. Evans, former health com- VH missioners of New Pork and Chicago. Wm respectively, Dr. J. B. Murphy of IH Chicago president of the American. MM Medical society, and other leaders Mm in tho movement. Governor ' H Woodrow Wilsou probably will do IH much more spoaking on his western H trip than ho originally intended, ow- Urn Ing to requests from numerous alties H that he visit them and speak on the IsGiies of the campaign from the Mu Democratic standpoint. Governor H Wilson, at natioual headquarters to- H day, discussed with Senator Gore of Oklahoma and seven others, plans for his trip. After the first; western trip which will begin Septembor 16 and end September 21, the governor will have two days' rest at his home In Sea Girt, but present plans are that he will start out almost immo- dlatelv for another western invasion. It is likely that on his second west- ern trip he will go to Missouri, Ne- braska and Illinois The governor will probably meet William J. Bryan the latter part of the month in Ne- j braska. H oc |
