It was necessary, nec-essary, in making the official can-vars, can-vars, to write tho vote of each of the 14S candidates in the 30 districts and then make a total of the citv vote and of the county vote, after which a grand total of the entire vote of the county had to be made. The question of who was elected constable of Ogden porcinct, however, how-ever, was settled by tho county clerk. Thomas Cunningham. Democrat, was elected by a majority of over Henry Steele, Republican, as follows: Cunningham, (D) 2,800 Steele, (R) 2,284 It Is said by tlie canvassers that the tolal vote of the various candidates candi-dates in Weber county will be about as it was given in tho Standard the day after election, no differences having hav-ing been discovered so far In the official of-ficial count. |
