Bryan Bry-an was a center of attraction in tho pro-convention scene yesterday and though appearing at the h'eadquartcrs of leaders of a rival party, as a newspaper news-paper reporter, he wbb given a demonstration dem-onstration by a throng of visitors and delegates. Mr. Bryan had a personnl chat with Theodore Roosevelt late In the day, after he had Intorvlewod Senator Dixon, the Roosevelt campaign director direc-tor and Managing Director McKlnlcy of tho Taft Bureau. As he entered the hotel lobby elbowing el-bowing his way through the crowd someone Bhouted: "Hurrah for Bryan" and the No-braskan No-braskan was given a demonstrative welcome. He was cheered for several sev-eral minutes and continuous cries of "speech, speech " camo from all parts of the lobby. Mr Bryan waved his hand to the crowd and remarked to those near him, that he had come merely ns a newspapor reporter" and not seeking the presidential nomination nomina-tion from a rival party.
