H Tho encyclopedia was ghen to the H library committee during its regular H business session by a committee com- H posed of Don IWagtilro. S. A. Maginnis H and W. J. Dermody. Tho formal pre- H I scntation was made by Mr ilagulro H with n few appropriate remarks Rev. H ' J. B. Carver thanked tho Knights qf Hl Columbus for the gift on behalf of the Hj J library committee and the genera) H I public which, will bo benefited by ac- B cess to the work. H The book has been highly praised B by its reviewers for its broad view of H matters treated, as well as the great H scope of knotUedgc which it covers. H It has been written by tho best H scholars in ihc Catholic church, a great deal of research having been made bj the wrltors upon each of tho many subjects covered. The last two volumes are not yet oft tho press, but will bo recehen by the library as soon as they are completed. The first thirteen volumes will bo placed on the library shelves at once. |
