Tho co-operation of tho city board of commissioners, tho city board of education and boards of governors of private schools has boen offered and . tho Interest of air tho Bchool children has been enlisted In tho undertaking. Tho plan will be to have a holiday for tho schools for tho purposo of a general cleanlng-up of the homes and public places of tho city, tho day to bo concluded 'In general festivities. Dofinito arrangements cannot bo announced, an-nounced, but tentatively, such will bo the plan. ,-i The Ladles' Literary society has already al-ready offered to the sub-high n prize of $5 for tho best esaaj- and $2 .50 for tho second best on the subject of "Municipal house-cleaning." Other, rewards will ho given children making mak-ing the host record in tho removal of rubbish and dirt of all kinds about tho home on that, day.
