Show '.FOUND DEAD' IN HOTU ROOM J. H. Ogburn, of Marysvillo, California, Cali-fornia, whs found dead in a room at the Healy hotel at 11 o'clock today. He had shot himself In the left temple iilth a ."8-callber rovnlver which was found ling bj his side He had a roll of currency of o er $500, besides other kinds of money. In all ho had $590.50 A memoranda found in a small note book which ho carried read as follows: fol-lows: "My wife, Mrs. J. H. Ogburn, of MarysvIIIe, lives with her mother. Mrs. D L. TibbltB ou the Ostrorn ranch, thoy own the place. Thoy are tho people ablo to have me provided provid-ed for. Started mo out to attend a business matter but I was not able to make the trip back Baggage on this train with me, checked." The man came to tho hotel last evening and nothing had been seen of him, after he went to his room. A light was seen in his room at about S o'clock this morning by the chambermaid cham-bermaid and it Is though that the man killed liimsolf after that time The shot was not heard about the hotel and it cannot be stated definitely def-initely when the awful deed was committed. com-mitted. It was loarned at the depot that the man got off a train from the west last eveuing and that he had a ticket for a point in Virginia. He had excess baggage and the ticket was held by the railroad people. The presumption Is that the man was on his way to Virginia to attend to business bus-iness matters.
