Show CjOGEIY LADIES LITERARY CLUB. - The Ladies' Literary club will meet Wednesday afternoon with ''Mrs. Margaret Clark, 31-19 Washington avenue. Tho Federated Clubs of Utah will meet in Ogden next week and pjans for this occasion will be mado by the various clubs of tho city. A full attendance of ihe Literary club ladles is expected. SURPRISE PARTY. A surprise was given at tho home of Mrs. L. M. Dean-in honor of mother arid daughter, Ethel, Saturday last. A - pleasant evening was spent and a tempting lunch was served. Those present were Mrs. L. M. Dean, -Ethel Dean, Mrs. E. Shelton, Mrs. J. W. Sanborn, Florence Shelton, i Myrtlo Branning, Margaret Drysdale, Kitty Grogan, Orlean Nicholas, Bur-roll Bur-roll Huffstetler, Juanlta Backer, Ellen El-len Turnqulst, CLarenco Dean, Law-renco Law-renco Hobeon and Walter Turnqulst of Five Points, Oliver Foster, 'Jack Foster, Evorct Huffstetler. BAPTIST YOUNG PEOPLE. Tho Baptist young people will hold their regular meeting at the homo of Miss Colon Downs tomorrow evening even-ing at 2747 Washington avonuc. Following election of officers and other business a pleasant social hour is planned, A full attendance of the young people is expected at this meeting. ST.
