Show NAVY ELEVEN TWO YEARSJNDEFEATED 'pHB Naval academy football team can lay claim to an attainment which Is beyond tho reach of any other school In the country. Tho sailors' eleven has gone through tho last two seasons without a defeat having been registered against It and has each year won Its most Important contest. Last year the midshipmen won every gamo they played, with the exception of one, and that was when Rutgers caught them off form during the early season and played 0 0 game. During the 1910 season the Navy practically cleaned up Its schedule, winning from tho Army, 3 to 0. In tho big gamo of the year, and afterward bemoaned the fact that It had not met stronger teams. Two tie games have been played by this year's eleven, one with Princeton and the other with Pennsylvania State. The climax of the two Bcasons was reached when tho odd game was won from the Army recently by the same score that was made by last year's eleven. Before that gamo the Army and Navy had each won seven contests, and that the deciding contest should be won by the latter was a fitting end to two of the most successful seasons played by any team. |
