Governor Robert P Bass of Now Hampshire was re-elected president A resolution was adopted recommend, recom-mend, ng that the forest service bo taken out of politics and placed upon a purely scientific basis. Chief Forester Graves declared that despite the great adanc of the forestry for-estry movement, the chief work of getting get-ting forestry into actual practice still lies before us. Governor Bass in his annual address spoke of the good results from tho cooperation co-operation of states with the national forest service and uiged tho practice of forestry on prlvnte lands. Among those chosen as vice president presi-dent were former Presldont Roosevelt former Forester Plnchot, Secrctnrv of Agr'Tiilturo Wilson and Secretary of tho Interior Fisher, Otto I .ubkolt of this city was reelected re-elected treasurer. rn |
