Show oo ACCIDENT TO AVIATOR WALSH After a successful flight at the fair grounds this afternoon, Aviator Walsh wrecked the front wheel of his machine and damaged one of his planes In alighting. The accident was caused by the wind dipping his machine ma-chine as it neared the ground. Walsh was uninjured. The aviator arose from the ground despite the heavy wind which was blowing at the time. A circular" flight ore'ght minutes' aviation was made and f the biplane returned to the ground and dropped gracefully toward the earth Just as the machine was aboijt to touch the round, the wind turned the biplane so that one of the planes struck the earth The front wheel was torn from the machine and the piano was loosened. U Is expocted that the mechanicians will bo able to repair the biplane for a flight tomorrow. oo |
