Show CITED ON CONTEMPT CHARGE. Provo, April 12 Judge J. E. Booth in the district court today issued an order citing tho Price CommeYcial and Savings bank, Carl Marcussen, C. S. Price and R. W. Crockett to show cause on April 22 at Provo why they and each of them should not bo punished pun-ished for sontompt of court for attaching at-taching $130 belonging to the receiver re-ceiver of the Utah Banking company and refusing to pay over tho same. Charles C Friel, as receiver of the Utah-Banking company, held a large note of W. D. Livington's, which was secured by n block of the stock of the Price River Irrigation company. A short time ago Judge Booth authorized au-thorized the receiver to sell 112 shares of tihs stock for $22-10 Tho stock was sent to Price and tho nionoy collected, and it is alleged by the attorney for Mr. Friel the defendants defend-ants retained $130 of the amount and refused to return It to the receiver. |
