Mnny persons who wore present declare, de-clare, that much of tho 'succoss of the 'whole evening's entertainment hinged upon the banquet, which was declared to bo fuljy equal to any that lias ever I been given. in this city even with th I aid of professional chefs. The work I of preparing and serving" the banquet 1 was bupervlsed by Miss Eva Farr, head of the domestic department and much of tho credit naturally fnlte to her.
