H The Ogden parties, recently granted BBfl a franchise to operate an electric flfl light and power plant and distributing system in the city , arc preparing articles of incorporation and will file thorn within the next few days, tho incorporators intending to begin building operations within a short The franchise provides that work on the system must begin by May 1, of this year, and that in the year 1013 a distributing system, sufficient tosupplv the needs of the people within the firo districts, shall have been constructed and ready for use. The president of the company says that building operations will begun beforo May 1. and that before 1913 the new company will have a well established plant in operation. Tho company will bo incorporated for $500,000, Ogden monev, and the first ollicers will be: M." S. Brown- H ing, president; A. L. Br'wer and J. j S. Lewis, vice presidents; Arthur Kuhn, secretary; Charles 'Kaiser, H treasurer. fl The officers, with Joseph Scowcroft, J. N. Spargo, A. T. Wright and J. C. -Nye constitute the directorate of the company. President Browning states that a meeting will be held this afternoon with Civil Engineer Straus of Chi- cago, for tho purpose of determining on plans of operation.
