Show DEATHS AND FUNERALS THOMAS WILSON. After an Illness of about a year of general debility at the residence of his son, John WilBon, 2050 Liberty , ,iveuut: Thomas Wilson, a respectod pioneer of this community, passed away at 2-30 this morning Had ho lived until next October he would have been 95 years old. Since 1SGI he has resided in Ogden and vicinity. Thomas Wilson was born in -Scotland on October 28, 1S1G. He camo to America when but a boy, arriving in Utah with a baud of emigrants in 1S51. He spent the remainder of his life in this city, excopt the time ho spent in Cache county. He is survived by iour children, a step-daughter, twority-elght grandchildren, grandchil-dren, nlnety-Iour great grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Two of his children, John "Wilson and Eliza Stow, reside in Ogden. a son resides in Ogdon and a daughter, Ellon Jackson, lives at Vernal. Funeral services will be conducted at the Fourth Ward meeting Iioubo at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and interment will be In Ogden City oem-etery. oem-etery. Mr. Wilson had many friends In this section of the country who will regret his death, for ho was a good man, highly respected by all who knew him. He was an upholsterer by trade and followed that occupation with tho Boyle Furniture company for many years after the country became far enough advanced to justify the company com-pany employing such a workman. JOSEPH CARESWELL. Joseph A. Careswell, of Franklin, Idaho, but formerly of Ogden, died at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, after several mouths' Illness, due to paralysis. paraly-sis. He suffered the first stroke on October 22 and was confined to his bed up to the time of his death. Mr. Careswell will be remembered by his Ogden friends and acquaintances acquain-tances as an old resident of this city. For a number of years, in the early nineties, he conducted a grocery and notion store at Twenty-fifth and Lincoln. Lin-coln. About eight years ago he moved mov-ed to Franklin, Idaho, and ongaged in ranching. Ho first moved in Ogden in 1SG9. coming with his parents, brother and sisters from England. He was born at Halifax, England, on Fobruary 10, 1S55. The body will he brought to this city and funeral services will be held In the Fifth ward mooting houHo at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning. HEINO HANSON. Funeral services over the remains of Helno, tho six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hanson, will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon In the First ward meeting bouse.
