Show Deferment For Students Revised In auswer to many questions from present and prospective college col-lege students, new policies with reference to student deferement under the revised rulings, have been announced by selective service ser-vice headquarters, the Utah State Agricultural college, has been informed. in-formed. Qualifying tests for Navy V-12 and Army Specialized training ' program deferments will be given throughout the nation on Wed- ' nesday, March 15 at 9 a. m. Information In-formation leaflets may be obtained, obtain-ed, from E. L. Romney, dean of men. The form, properly filled out i with admit students to the test. Btudents eligible are those between be-tween 17 and 21 years of age, inclusive, must be high school graduates or will graduate by July 1, 1944. The examination is designed to test the aptitude and general knowledge required for the train-bag train-bag program. At the time of the test, each candidate will be given a choice of service preference., but taking the test does not obligate ob-ligate the candidate to enlist In the service. The seven point program, which goes Into effect February 15, requires re-quires that all college students who have been deferred under previous rulings, apply for further deferment.
