Show SCHOOLS COUNT SHOWS LOSS, Gl Increase Noted in C'ty; County Drops An increase in Logan city and a decrease in Cache county school district enrollments were noted Thursday when reports on registration regis-tration were released by school officials. of-ficials. Superintendent John C. Carlisle reported a gain of 225 over last year, in Logans seven elementary and secondary units, when Superintendent Super-intendent J. W. Kirkbride announced an-nounced that enrollment in the county dropped 102 pupils from 1944.45. Total number of students in the city system is 2677 compared with 2472 in 1944-45 and 2452 the previous pre-vious year. In the county, 4403 students are attending classes, compared with 4505 last year. A breakdown of enrollment in the city schools, with 1945 figures first, and 1944 figures second, was listed by Dr. Carlisle as follows: fol-lows: Ellis, 277 and 264; Wilson, 169 and 194; Whittier, 174 and 175; Woodruff, 431 and 424; Adams 349 and 324; 'Logan Junior high school, 672 and 651; senior high school, 578 and 577.
