Show sheepmen have until April 1 to acquire lambs. The. fifth show is being sponsored spon-sored by the Salt Lake chamber of commerce and the commissioner! of Salt Lake and Davis counties, coun-ties, but scores of other organizations organi-zations and private individuals are cooperating to make the event a success. The state Extension Service Ser-vice is urging its entire staff of county agents to lend a hand whenever necessary. Furthermore, this Service is lending David Sharp, Jr., assistant 4H club leader, part time to manage the affair for the second year. Mark Nichols, state director of vocational education, is mobilizing' his Smith-Hughes teachers and Future Farmers to help this worthy wor-thy cause along. Mr. Nichols, who will be in charge of the F.F.A. division di-vision at the show, reports that keener interest is being shown this year by his boys; they are making better selection ot animals and giving closet study to the art of putting a better finish on their entries. i In addition to these workers, numerous business houses, breed associations, and private enterprises enterpri-ses throughout the Intel-mountain country are offering prizes and special awards to the boys and girls who show "top" animals, s Junior Stockmen Prepare Animals For Fifth Show Chief interest these days in Junior livestock circles throughout through-out the Intermountain region is the selection, feeding, and fitting of animals for the Fifth Junior Fat Stock Show at North Salt Lake, June 3, 4, and 5.
