Show LOCALS The Just-A-Mere Bridge club met at the home of Mrs. Norman Lundberg, Wednesday afternoon. High score prize was won by Mrs. Leanord Sorensen, and high cut prize to Mrs. Bonnie Parsons. Van Orden attended the Rexall Druggist convention con-vention held Wednesday and Thursday, at Sun Valley, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Mark McCann and family;Mrs. Hope Hyde, and Miss Ruth McCann, visited with Mrs. Charles McCann atN Arimo, Idaho, last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Nilson spent Monday at Salt Lake City where they purchased a new Nash car. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Raymond left Saturday for Detroit, Mich., and will drive a new car back. They expect to be gone two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. McCallister of Og-den Og-den were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Adrain V. Toolson on Sunday. Sun-day. . ' Miss Grace Postma entertained at a bridge party recently. Those present were Mrs. Dorothy Parsons, Par-sons, Mrs. Eva Reese; Mrs. Helen Sorensen, Mrs. Amy Jackson, Mrs. Winona Lundquist, Mrs. Emma Webb, Mrs. Myrtle Cooper. Luncheon Lunch-eon was served and bridge was enjoyed during the- evening. Reasonable Prices, Mrs. Hazen Hillyard entertained Saturday evening at their home, In 'honor Of Mr. and Mrs. Reid Hovey of Kirkwood, Missouri, who have been visiting with Mrs. Fern Smith for the past two weeks. The evening was spent in music and visiting. Those included were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Christensen of Richmond; Mrs. Ivan Nilson and daughters,; Dale Nilson Norma Alder, S. P. The Book Luree club held their last meeting of the season Wednesday Wed-nesday at the Blue Bird, with Mrs. Jack Meikle as hostess, Mrs. Wil-lord Wil-lord Woodruff was in charge of the program. Mrs. W. B. Preston of Logan gave a review of the book, "Oliver Wiswell," by Kenneth Ken-neth Roberts. A short business meeting was held and the following follow-ing officers were elected for the coming year. President, Mrs. Perry Per-ry Reese, vice president, Mrs. Wil-ford Wil-ford Woodruff, secretary and treasurer, Mrs. Fred Spicker. Luncheon was served to 17 ladies. Mrs. J. E. Saeffer was hostess to the members of her bridge club at her home Wednesday afternoon. af-ternoon. Luncheon was served at small tables, centered with white Jillies. The living room was decorated dec-orated with red peonies and white lilacs. Mrs. Robert Griffiths was a special guest. High score prize was won by Mrs. William Scrow-ther. Scrow-ther. Wright of Ogden left Thursday to spend several days at their summer home near West Yellowstone. |
