Show Rates on Fire Insurance Reduced Again Another decrease in tire insurance insur-ance rates has been made for Logan Lo-gan according to information received re-ceived by the Fire Prevention Committee of the Logan Chamber of Commerce from J. H. Roberts. District Secretary of the board of Fire Underwriters of 'the Pacific. Secretary Roberts says. "Masonry Mercantile buildings and contents: reductions will run approximately 12 percent. In addition ad-dition 'to this higher coinsurance credits have been authorized which will make a reduction of 20 percent on masonry buildings where coinsurance is used. Dwellings have been reduced another 5 cents on the three year term. This is in addition to a like reduction Hay 1, 1940 making approximately a 15 per cent reduction reduc-tion within the year. T'ie new rates will be effective effect-ive March 1, 1941, and retroactive only to plics issued subsequent to Jan. 1, 1941- The revision of the rates m Logan is in recognition of the efficiency ef-ficiency of your fire department, and in fact, in the fire defense system in general, I assure yu that I am happy to be .able to give Logan this substantial reduction redu-ction in their fire insurance rates. Tire fire Prevention Commntee of the Chamber are to be commended com-mended for their cooperation m fire prevention work.
