Our people should try to get their minds away from the dark sides of that picture. Not many people feel that anything would be gained by sending an army to Europe. The American people have a perfectly marvellous industrial power. It is going to fight for freedom and liberty, without sending an army to die on the blood .soaked fields of Europe.
