Mrs. Nora Johnson has been appointed city treasurer for Smithfied. Conrad Richardson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Richardson who Is in the armed forces in Washington Wash-ington is visiting with his parents par-ents for two weeks. Mrs. Thomas B. Scrowther, residents of Smithfield, who now live in Lawrence, Kansas. Mrs. Scrowther Scrowth-er was formerly Miss Connie Winberg Win-berg of Millville.
