Show COMMUNICATION'S American troops in Alaska are going to receive at least eight I hours of radio news and special programs beginning about Oct. 1, and shows taken from the three major radio networks also will be transmitted. The four Alask. ' an stations to rebrodacast the programs are Fairbanks, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Anchorage. As equipment becomes available, the Office of War Information will work with the Army Signal corps to install low-powered transmitters at Nome, Dutch Harbor and Kodiak. |
