Show j Mining Men to Benefit Ii From latest reports given out by D. D. Muir, General Manager of the United States Smelting, Refining and Mining Co., work will immediately commence on a $500,000 flotation plant for the i treatment of refractory lead-zinc I ores at Midvale. The treatment of this kind of ore will prove a big saving for the mine-operators of the State, and to the mining min-ing men of Bingham especially, as there are many zinc properties proper-ties now in this district that have been lying dormant, since there has been no facilities in this state to handle these ores, and paying freight out of the state prevented the shipment of lead-zinc ores, as the rates were too excessive to make any profits. |
