Show Depot Workers to Get "Furloughs" Arrangements have been completed com-pleted for the "furloughing" oi employes of -che Utah Quarte--, mastsr Depot in Odgen for neces- sary agricultural work in Cache Valley, Blaine D. Fitts, manager of the Logan U. S. employment service office, reports. So far seven key Vrkers 'ox the California Packing corpora-t corpora-t tion plant in Smithfield have fibeen released by depot officers to return for the pea canning season which opened Monday, Mr. Pitts said. Others will be fur-loughed fur-loughed as they are needed, depot de-pot officers have agreed. Cache Valley workers at the depot who return on furlough for any type of agricultural work will not lose seniority or any other rights at the depot, of-ficials of-ficials promised. Farmers who need depot work-, work-, men and workers who wish to return to Cache alley for agri- cultural labor were urged to report re-port imemdiately to the Logan USES office or to the county agent's oice in Logan.
